It's not over. It's never gonna be over. Things will change under Him. All of us shall rise up again. Glorify His name like none had ever done. We will change and be moulded to be like Jesus. No longer shall we be the same anymore. Jesus, My Lord and Saviour, change us. Let us glorify Your name. Lead us back into Your way. Let us not be misled ever again. Take us into Your world. Amen.

Ah well. It's been a long time since i updated in here!! And seeing the recent entry that Beck had done made me feel bad for not doing my part in this blog. So, here i am. Not because it is an accident but because God had already planned that i was supposed to do this. Well, for this entry, i'm going to write about distractions with the walk with God. From the recent sermon that Pastor Kong gave. So, here goes.
"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on it stand, so that those who come in may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness." - Luke 11:33-34
The Power of FOCUS (Concentration)
Focus is the centre point of your attention.
"Brothers, i do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. but one thing i do: Forgeting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14
1. Build on your strength/talent.
2. Build on your distinctive/uniqueness.
3. Build on your revelation.
""Everything is permissible"-- but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"-- but not everything is constructive." - 1 Corinthians 10:23
Distraction is to have your attention drawn away to do something other than doing God's purpose of your life. Distraction stirs up confusion.
1. Don't get distracted by interim successes. Don't get blinded by your successes.
An example would be like Pepsi Coke and Coca Cola. Let me ask you something. Would you rather drink Pepsi or Coca Cola? Most would say Coke. Now, why is that? What is the difference between Coke and Pepsi?
In the past, PepsiCo and Coca Cola were on par with each other. But, PepsiCo wanted to be all around the world, so they started to invest. They bought over Frito-lays, KFC, Pizza Hut, Gatorade, Tropicana, Quaker, Lipton, Mountain Dew, and so much more. But Coca Cola focused on what it is best at: Coke. It didn't get distracted by its success. Coca Cola followed their goal which is to strike big in America before striking the world. Coca Cola focused and now they reached their goal; Coca Cola is known over the world and obviously, the total income they earn is so much more than what PepsiCo is earning.
Through this, we can see that PepsiCo got distracted by its success and wanted to be more famous. It lost its focus and sidetracked. Unlike Coca Cola. Coca Cola kept its success at bay, didn't got distracted and focused on its goal. Look at Coca Cola now.
2. Don't get distracted by competition. Focus, but realise your surroundings. Be determined not to be distracted.
John 3:22-27.
Another example would have to be Microsoft and Netscape. Look at the computers everywhere now. Microsoft, Microsoft, Microsoft. Where is Netscape now?
Netscape created internet. They made technology so great. During that time, Microsoft was having computers installed with internet explorer. And computers didn't come with Netscape. So you had to buy a computer and then buy Netscape. I mean, it's obvious that people would rather buy Microsoft. So they did. Netscape was furious with Microsoft and decided to sue them. After 3 years, Netscape had almost lost everything from sueing and from its loss. For 3 years, Netscape had only survived. Now, it's still here, but you don't see it everywhere. You see Mircrosoft everywhere now. And again, Microsoft earns freaking more than Netscape. Hey, it's Bill Gates, okay...
Through this, we can see that Netscape was distracted by the competition Microsoft was giving them. They sidetracked by sueing Microsoft and not trying to improve their product. They lost focus by jealousy. So, don't get distracted by competition. Stay focused.
Focus tells you when to take hold of an offence or when to let the offence go.
Glory is released under pressure. Hebrews 12:2
Purpose is bought with joy and pain.
3. Don't get distracted by the pain of life.
1. The pain of discipline
2. The pain of separation from friends
3. The pain of disappointment
4. The pain of obedience. Hebrews 5:8
5. The pain of accusation. John 7:1-6, Proverbs 4:25

WHAT HAPPENED??
i'd really like to know too. Sometimes the troubles that we face is our lives are troubles that we have brought upon ourselves. It got me thinking. Why? because they weren't God-blessed? Or were they there to strengthen us? The walk was never meant to be easy. But He promised deliverance. And i believe. :)

oh darn, i wrote a really long entry and it got all sucked up by the computer, hurmph, must have clicked something wrong, so anyway our entries somehow or rather always starts with something like..so it's been long since anyone updated so here i am now blah blah blah.. heh.. i'm not really even sure anybody else reads this.. but anyway we update in hope that someone else does reads it.. and it proves to be so once in a while..heh heh. so here i go, again..
So God has put you in a shitty suituation where everything is wrong and just don't work out and you're thinking, "WHERE IN THE WORLD IS GOD WHEN I NEED HIM SO SO MUCH!!". why, i'm about to tell you that. He's giving you a test. and you're wondering, i've had enough of tests in school and if he doesn't come real quick, i'm about to break. you know, maybe he just wants to increase your capacity? We grow much stronger in our weaknesses. And, he will help you along the way too, don't think that he has really left you alone to fend the problem yourself.
Okay, so now we know the problems we have are to strengthen us, but sometimes we still find ourselves thinking why God? WHY?!! but why can't we, just trust in him and depend on him to carry us through the difficult and dark path.? You see, God values us a lot, more than you may think, he's not all about WORSHIP ME!! BOW TO ME!! MUAHAHAHA!! period. NO! he loves us and he wants us to enjoy as well.
So now you have sacrificed all the world you can ever have for God and he gives you nothing in return, you waited and waited, you plead and plead, you're growing tired and it's pulling you down.. stand strong! he's trying to increase your capacity do you know that? Never forget the good God has shown to you before, because he will show you greater things that you never dreamt or imagine of.
To non-believers, you are missing out on the greatest love of all.
To already saved ones, stand strong with God and not be wavered, he will honour you one day of the faith you have in him.
he helps you through difficult problems, he'll help you when on one elses lends a hand, he'll love when the others hate, he'll receive you when the others condemn you. he loves you. very much.

So i look to You.
Man. It's been so long since anyone updated here. Seriously. Oh well, i guess at least i'm updating now. Anyway, things in JT hasn't been continuing but that doesn't mean we have lost our faith in God or whatsoever. I believe one day we'll all be back together again. And with just a little faith of mine, it can happen. Because i have Jesus.
In my life right now, things haven't been going right or good at all. In fact, my path now looks dark and menacing, with my studies, friendships, family. And even my relationship with God. Basically, the devil has been doing its work. But of course, i won't let it pull me down. Never. Anyway, back to the story, i was feeling pretty down, i mean, everything in your life is like heading down and your relationship with God is also heading down, of course you'll feel down. My relationship with God was really bad. I couldn't feel His presence at all. I just couldn't feel Him with me. Even at the Festival of Praise, i couldn't really feel Him. It just felt so dead. So empty. Like there isn't anyone up there. But i still hanged on. I believe one day i will get my breakthrough. And i did. Like i said, with just a little faith, things can happen. With God. I believed that i will get a breakthrough, and i did. Yes, finally. Just a few days ago, I talked to Jing Ming through the internet. I know it was God's plan that Jing Ming started to preach to me. And tears started to flow. I kept sobbing, i couldn't stop. I really felt guilty that i kinda abandon God, stopped talking with Him, stopped spending quality time with Him. I kept sobbing (It was 2am in the morning. You don't expect me to cry it all out with my sister sleeping in the room.) and i really really couldn't stop. God was really speaking to me through Jing Ming. And through that talking, i really learnt alot. From God and Jing Ming. And i had my breakthrough. Yes. And i thank God for that. Then i remembered something that Sister Jia Ying had said at the last Cell Group Meeting (CGM) that i went. She said:
There are 5 faces of journeys to our faith. And they are:
1. Dream/goal.
The way we manage our lives deem as our dreams.
2. Decision.
It will just be a daydream if you don't make any decisions. You will have to make a decision to make the dream come through.
3. Delay.
This is where sacrifices are to be made. There is always a delay with God but He does not break His promises. Waiting doesn't mean a denial or a "No". However it means a "Not yet". Delays are part of our lives with God.
4. Dead End.
When it seems you're at a dead end, where you're cornered in every direction, remember that there is still a place you can look up to. Look up to God. Nothing will stop God from giving us blessings. Dead ends are nothing when God is alive. It is through a dead end that we realise that we are nothing without God. And truly, we are indeed just dust.
5. Deliverance.
This is where we realise that we are nothing without God. This is where we are hanging on and this is where God will deliver us. This is where we will have a breakthrough. It is when we do not look at our surroundings, but at God where we can find our solution from the dead end.
This is so true. Amen to this!

Just Imagine,
fellowshipping with God, laughing with Him, joking with Him and even hugging Him,
isn't it worth sacrificing all that you have in the world now?
That eternal love that you'll never receive from riches of the world,
that love so great that He even brought down His Son to die on the cross,
just to die for our sins and shame,
doesn't it show you how much God loves us?
The lashes Jesus held, the crown of thorns sank deep in His head, the nails thrusted in His flesh,
the blood He shed and the pain that He suffered,
just for all of you out there,
and the only thing that God wants,
is your love for Him.
Get saved now!
1. Admit that you are a sinner and need to turn from your sins (repentance)
2.Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins and He is alive today.
3. Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and invite Him to come into your life.
You may pray a simple prayer like this:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness.
I believe that You died for my sins on the cross.
I now open the door of my life and invite You in to be my Savior and Lord.
Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.
Take control of my life from now on.
Make me the kind of person You want me to be.
I pray this in Your name, Amen."
